Newport Transporter Bridge

Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal

A small network of canals in South Wales. For most of its 35-mile (56 km) length it runs through the Brecon Beacons National Park, and its present rural character and tranquillity belies its original purpose as an industrial corridor for coal and iron, which were brought to the canal by a network of tramways and/or railroads built and owned by the canal company.

Big Pit National Coal Museum

A museum in Blaenavon in Wales, which is dedicated to the Welsh heritage of coal mining which took place at the town during the Industrial revolution. Big Pit was a working coal mine, adjacent to the preserved Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway. The mine closed in 1980 and reopened for visitors in 1983. Today it is preserved for visitors under the auspices of the National Museums of Wales.

Cardiff Castle

A medieval castle and Victorian revival mansion, transformed from a Norman keep erected over a Roman fort in Cardiff, the capital of Wales. the castle is a huge attraction in Cardiff today.

Millennium Stadium

The national stadium of Wales, located in the capital, Cardiff. It is the home of the Wales national rugby union team and the Wales national football team, but is also host to many other events and sports, such as Wales Rally Great Britain stage of the World Rally Championship, Speedway Grand Prix of Great Britain, boxing and many music concerts, including Madonna, The Rolling Stones and Tsunami Relief concert.
